SIC Europa

SIC Europa is one of the earliest programs in Portugal to regularly cover European affairs on a national television network. It provided weekly insights into the European Union’s institutions, policies, and their direct impact on citizens.

Rebecca Abecassis played a pivotal editorial role in developing and maintaining the program’s European coverage. Through her coordination, SIC Europa established a foundation for structured, accessible, and reliable EU-related journalism in Portugal.

Episodes were broadcast on SIC Notícias and contributed to public awareness of European matters in the early 2000s.
